(Insert Adjective) Chic

I've been trying different looks for the stage and have recently come to a stand still. I'm not 100% happy with anything I wear lately. Also, it is tough trying to wear things that are cute but are also functional since I have to play guitar and dance a lot. I also don't want to dress the way anyone else dresses which is also another big challenge to work around. Why do I feel like I need Tyra and the Jays to help me define my style?

Since I am not a huge fan of the new Rilo Kiley album, I didn't get tickets to see them tonight or yesterday and eventually they sold out. I actually haven't seen RK live since 2004! I still love the band and I'll never love them more than when I booked them at my college back in 2002. Here are some pictures!

Annie, Are You Okay?

I am going to be in CPR training for 5 1/2 hours tomorrow. Work is paying for it and it is a good skill to have but I am nervous. What if I fail? It took me 2 times (at least) to pass in high school. And besides, the mannequins scare the CRAP out of me.

Summer Away

It is 8 pm and it is dark. WTF? Where did summer go? I hate the cold and the dark. I bought a cute scarf from H & M that has ghosts and hearts on it. This will cheer me up for now. I asked my sister to take a picture of me and the scarf but she is the worst photographer ever so instead you get some pics from the past few weeks. Lucky you!

Stop Making a Fool Out of Me!

Getting your van towed sucks! I am home for now. Woxy.com was a blast. Matt Shiv is my new BFF. Saw Superbad for the second time. Ready to go out again. Oh, and "Valerie" is my new favorite song.

A Broken Record

I am watching the VMAs and since I've been in a van for the past week I had no idea my love, Mark Ronson, was going to be leading the house band. What a nice surprise! I am going to pursue Mark to remix one of my songs just like DJ Frequency did for our "Kill the Rich Boys II." Maybe I can get him to sample some clips from Pee-Wee's Playhouse. I will keep everyone posted on my progress.

Update

For the three of you that read this, sorry I have been slacking. I've been busy with work, moving, putting an album out, and touring. Here is a quick update about what is going on in my life:

1. I miss my dog. A lot.
2. My album charted in the CMJ top 200!
3. Returning to New London always makes me feel wonderful and crappy at the same time.
4. I excited about playing on www.woxy.com this Tuesday.
6. Why did it take me a month to see Supebad? Why haven't I seen it 12 times already?
5. Mark Ronson is still hot.
