A Slacker and A Sellout?

Last night I saw Enchanted. It was cute. The medium popcorn bag I bought had my former love, Jason Lee's face all over it accompanied by a couple of CGI chipmunks. If you haven't heard, Jason will be playing Dave Seville in the updated version of the classic cartoon, Alvin and the Chipmunks, which I saw a preview for last night as well. This time, they are more edgy (just look at the picture!) and don't sing songs about wanting hoola-hoops.

I used to love Jason Lee. A lot. Whenever he was in Jane magazine, he was always showing off photos he took on a Lomo or some type of art he was involved in. I can even get over the whole Scientology thing (maybe) but this is a little much. I just hope they paid him a lot and that is why he did it so now he can go do more large format photo exhibits. Anyways, here is the Jason Lee I'd like to remember:
